The International Management Institute IMI-Kyiv was launched in 1989 with the mission to educate professional managers as leaders of Ukraine's progression towards a prosperous globalized economy. Its founders are the Institute of Economy (Ukrainian Academy of Sciences) and the International Management Institute, Geneva, Switzerland. It was the first business school of its kind in the former Soviet Union. IMI-Kyiv trains Ukrainian business professionals using leading-edge management education methods and adapting them to address the unique challenges of Ukrainian business practice. The IMI-Kyiv's core activities include: - Master of Business Administration (MBA) Programs v the one-year full-time or two-year part-time MBA program combining core and elective courses with innovative elements incorporating the Ukrainian business perspective. - Executive Education Programs v a series of client-tailored programs which focus on expanding and developing the strategic business vision of professional community leaders. - Consulting services v provided to corporate clients with regard to strategic and financial management, marketing research, organizational development, effective human resource management practices, etc. Among our clients are Digital Equipment Ukraine, DuPont de Nemours International S.A., EDF, Gas de France, GE Plastics, R.J.
